Middle School hosts Turkey Trot
WEST MIFFLIN — West Mifflin Middle School hosted the Turkey Trot just before Thanksgiving break. The event was put on through the Health & Physical Education Department and allowed students to engage in goal setting, discipline, and participate in an event that promotes endurance and heart health while having fun.

The Coffee Cart served hot chocolate and treats to runners and supporters, and P3R helped to support the event by providing snacks/refreshments and sponsoring the awards.

The race also served as a fundraiser for Student Activities, The Kind Closet, and the Health/Physical Education Department to help provide holiday gifts to families of need in the West Mifflin community. Students were asked to find sponsorships to participate in the race.
