The West Mifflin Area Middle School SAVE Promise Club, Student Activities, and Student Council are thrilled to announce the Second Annual Color Fun Run, which will take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM. This year’s event holds special meaning as it is dedicated to Julie Hickey (1968–2024), a beloved guidance counselor who positively impacted the lives of students, staff, and the community.
The Color Fun Run will serve as the kick-off event for Mental Health Awareness Month, promoting the importance of mental health, social inclusivity, and physical wellness. This 5K course, which can be walked or jogged, will feature color stations throughout the route that aim to raise awareness about kindness, mental health, and school violence.
The event is open to all students, staff, families, and community members, and we encourage everyone to join us in honoring Julie Hickey’s legacy. Together, we can celebrate her life, raise awareness, and support important student programs.
