The West Mifflin Area School District (WMASD) invites all community members, alumni, and their families to return to campus on April 11, 2025, to help celebrate the renovation of the WMASD Baseball and Softball Complex. This event promises to be a fun-filled afternoon of exciting ball games, a special performance by the alumni marching band, and a gathering for alumni to reconnect.
The celebration will begin with a performance by the Alumni Marching Band, setting the stage for the day’s celebration. The band will perform as part of the opening ceremony leading into the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3:45 PM, officially unveiling the newly renovated baseball and softball complex.
Following the ribbon cutting, guests can enjoy a series of student athletic games, including:
- Girls’ Softball vs. Laurel Highlands at 4:00 PM
- Baseball vs. South Allegheny at 4:00 PM
After the student games, former WMASD baseball and softball players will take to the field in an alumni softball game, bringing back memories with some friendly competition.
For those who want to participate in the Alumni Softball Game or perform with the Alumni Marching Band, registration is required. You can sign up at bit.ly/WM-Alumni-April. There is a $10 fee to cover the cost of a special WMA T-shirt for all participants. If you're planning to register on the day of the event, note that limited same-day registration will be available.
After the games, the WMASD Alumni Association will host a gathering at Mulligans at 7:30 PM. Alumni will enjoy a special opportunity to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate their experiences at West Mifflin.
Whether you’re a long-time alumnus or a first-time visitor, Titan Evolution Alumni Madness is a great opportunity to experience the energy of the West Mifflin community, revisit cherished traditions, and celebrate a new chapter in the district’s athletic history.
